Competitive Golf for Amateurs & Professionals – $2 Million National Purse

WHAT IS SWING FOR A MILLION?

Swing for a Million is a nationwide golf tournament series created for amateurs, professionals, and dreamers chasing their moment. Through Swing Local Classics Affiliate Clubs, and Divisional Qualifiers, players get a real shot at a life-changing $2 million purse.

Whether you're a weekend warrior or a mini-tour pro, this is your path to golf’s biggest grassroots payday.


WHERE IS IT PLAYED?

It starts on a course near you.

We’re launching the 2025 Swing Local Classics Tourwith 50+ stops nationwid to Open Qualifiers, players will compete regionally to earn a place in one of four Divisional Championships—and ultimately, the $2 Million National Championship.


TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

  • Season runs June to November
  • Divided into 4 geographic divisions:
     
    • Western
    • Southeren
    • Midwestern
    • Northeastern
       


PLAYER PATHWAY

  1. Register – Choose Stroke Play or Best Ball (or both with additional entry separate tournament) Mini Tour Format is 2 player Scramble Event. 
  2. Compete Locally – Swing Local Classics Tour , Divisional Qualifiers
  3. Qualify for Divisional Qualifier from Swing Local Classics Tour, (2) and/or Divisional  Qualifiers 
  4. Championship – Top finishers from each route advance
  5. Reach Nationals – 288 players (144 Stroke Play + 144 Best Ball) play for $2M Purse.
     

FORMATS

  • Mini Tour Format – 2-Player Scramble (handicap formula used) (Verification will be confirmed with GHIN & HCIQ)
     
  • Stroke Play Series – Individual, gross scoring
     
  • Best Ball Series (Divisional Qualifiers Through National Championship – 2-Player teams, Best Ball 50% handicap
     
  • Players may register for both formats
     

HOW THE MINI TOUR WORKS


  • 50+ Swing Local Classics Events across the U.S.
     
  • 2-Player team format (24+ players per event)
     
  • Entry Fee: $350 per player
     
  • Payouts: (Based on 24 Registered Players)
     
    • 1st: $2,000
       
    • 2nd: $1,000
       
    • 3rd: $500
       
  • Players pay their own green fees for Swing Local Classics Tour events.
     

To qualify for a Divisional Qualifier: 

  • Place in the Top 3 Finishing Spots.
     

Top finishers at Divisional Qualifiers move on to the Divisional Championships.
Top 36 players from each series advance to the National Championship.
